Darlene Katz Home

Sitting atop a canyon that commands a western view second to none in Southern California is the home of artist Darlene Katz. Stepping up onto fieldstone carved walks edged in luscious greenery, one enters the foyer with a winding staircase. Looking up to the balcony, one can see Darlene's oils exhibited in the upper halls. On the ground floor one rambles into the dining area for refreshments, the patio through the elegantly outfitted den. A feast for the eyes is enhanced as doors open onto walks surrounding a pool with a waterfall gently falling on the backdrop, the outdoor dining area with full cooking accoutrements, several cozy sitting areas and a sprawling lawn leading to Darlene's studio and lounge area replete with a huge array of her work. The large studio windows, framed by roses and fruit trees in bloom, reveal again the spectacular view of the canyon and Pacific. This would be inspiration to anyone who has as much talent for painting as Darlene.
